Laizinou Vassiliki

MoB ILME, Head of Committee for ELA Certification (Greece and Cyprus)

Vasiliki Laizinou is Member of Board of the Hellenic Institute of Logistics Management [HILME] since 2013.  Since 2015 she leads the European Logistics Organization (ELA) Certification project in Greece and Cyprus.  Vasiliki is an elected Member of the European Certification Board for Logistics (ECBL) since 2016.

Currently, she is acting as Business Development Manager at Whisco Consultants Inc., partner of Dassault Systèmes, with core business activity the implementation of Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) projects.

Vasiliki has more than 25 years of experience as a Supply Chain / Operations / QA Manager in large manufacturing companies in Greece – FMCGs sectors, technologically advanced products in Renewables Energy Sources (RES) sectors and others – and also as a Supply Chain Business Consultant.  In this context she has designed and managed a number of projects to improve operational logistics modes, focusing in demand planning, long and short term production/inventory planning, warehousing, transportation and distribution operations, while she has been particularly involved in training and development of Supply Chain executives.

She holds Dipl. Ing. (5yrs course)  in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Imperial College Business (ICBS), London.
