ELA Certification
ELA Certification is an international standard of logistics management certification. Recognized by organizations and multinational companies worldwide, the ELA Certification is a qualification system for logistics professionals that validates your competence to perform in the role of a logistics / supply chain manager, leading and directing relevant operations and teams.
The certification program provided by the European Logistics Association (ELA) is based on the ELAQF Qualification Standards, and aims in formulating harmonized level of qualification trans-nationally for the supply chain and logistics. ELA Certification aims exclusively in assessing the professional proficiency of its candidates.
The European Standards for Logistics Competence have been aligned to the European Qualification Framework (EQF). The ELAQF Qualification Standards have been developed and agreed upon by industry. Therefore, the competence system – adopted for the ELA Certification – reflects the expectations of workplace performance. These Standards are outcome-based and form the basis of assessment. The assessment is independent of any learning programs or method that the candidate may choose.
Hellenic Institute of Logistics Management, HILME, as an active member and representative of ELA in Greece, is the Hellenic Certification Centre. Certification Centers have the authority to evaluate that candidates meet the requirements of European Standards for Logistics Competence.
