Stathis Makantasis holds the position of Logistics Manager at Delta Foods SA from April 2019.  He has also served as General Manager at Logistics Service Company (3PL) as well as Logistics Manager in Commercial Companies. He has been involved in major projects such as the Olympic Games as the Venue Logistics Manager of the Athens Olympic Stadium (OAKA), the development of OTE’s new Logistics Center as a Logistics Consultant at OTEplus, and the deployment of 25,000 VLTs in 2,500 stores for OPAP SA. Where was awarded with the “Alexander the Great” Project of the Year 2018 distinction award.  He holds a Master’s Degree in Logistics from the University of Piraeus, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and Economics from the Hellenic British College and he speaks English. Logistics is one of his biggest loves apart from his profession. His vision is to see Logistics as an important link in the mission and vision of businesses and organizations. Finally, he was born in Nea Smyrni, Attica, where he lives until today, he is married and has 2 children.
