In a constantly and rapidly changing business environment due to 4th industrial revolution “Industry 4.0”, Logistics constitute an important pillar, ensuring innovation, development of human resource skills and strengthening the competitiveness of investments.
The 2nd International Logistics Forum in Athens is organized by ILMEin collaboration with Geo Routes Cultural Institute, and it held under the auspices of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Athens. Leading international speakers from different industries will share trends, best practices, innovations and new business models, in which Logistics play significant role for value creation in investments together with standardization and the development of the human resources.

The European Logistics Association (ELA) honored Penske Logistics and Ford Motor Company with this year’s European Award for Logistics Excellence 2012 award for the innovative Network Integrator concept developed by the two companies. The winning case study submission is a joint project of Ford’s European Customer Service Division (FCSD) and Penske Logistics to optimize spare-parts supply chain enabling collaboration for multiple car brands across Europe.
