EJLog | ESLog Examinations
The organization of the exams is the responsibility of ILME. Exams are held twice (2) a year, following the procedure defined by the European Certification Board for Logistics (ECBL), which also provides the examination topics.
EJLog
- Written examination in 4 modules, each lasting 1.5 hours. Each module includes 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and 4 Short Answer Questions (SAQs). The passing score is 60%, with a minimum of 50% in either the MCQs or the SAQs.
- Interview or a written case study lasting 1 hour, covering 2 thematic units, one of which must be “Core Management Skills”. The passing score is 60%.
At the EJLog level, the questions are presented in both English and Greek.
To participate in the interview / case study, the candidate must have passed at least 2 of the written examination modules.
ESLog
- Written examination in 5 modules, each lasting 1.5 hours. Each module includes 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and 4 Short Answer Questions (SAQs). The passing score is 60%, with a minimum of 50% in either the MCQs or the SAQs.
- Interview or a written case study lasting 1 hour, covering 2 thematic units, one of which must be “Core Management Skills”. The passing score is 60%.
At the ESLog level, the questions are presented only in English.
To participate in the interview / case study, the candidate must have passed at least 2 of the written examination modules.
Candidates for the first two levels, EJLog and ESLog, can secure credits for the respective modules and complete the certification within a maximum of 6 consecutive examination periods.
The examination fees vary depending on the method of payment:
- Lump sum payment of examination fees
- Installment payment per module
In any case, for re-sitting the exams, the cost is determined per thematic module.
The examination fees are shown in the table below and include 24% VAT.

The examination fee for lump sum payment is prepaid before the candidate’s first participation and covers their first attempt in all required modules for each level, whether taken in one or multiple examination periods (up to 6 consecutive periods).
The EMLog level is assessed through the preparation and presentation of a Supply Chain Strategic Project.
The exams for the EMLog certification level are conducted in either Greek or English.
